With Summer fast approaching, many of us are looking forward to days spent poolside, sipping on a cold drink and enjoying the peace and serenity our backyard seems to bring.
Whether your family includes children or not, we’ve found that a pool is a welcome addition to almost any home! But as many of us know all too well, with a pool comes the need for accessories, and the need for somewhere to store them. Enter the poolside cabana. An elevated version of a classic pool house, cabanas are covered, but open “houses” or pergolas located just steps from your swimming pool. Often they are built separate from the house, but they can also be built into your backyard patio area if preferred!

A cabana is a fun addition to your backyard, as it provides you and your guests with a comfortable, shaded place to sit and enjoy drinks, as well as a place to store your pool accessories- including cleaning supplies, floats, chairs and more.
When you step into a cabana, you’ll be greeted with a central seating area, consisting of comfortable outdoor lounge furniture, usually situated around a fireplace, and or a TV. This creates the perfect environment for your husband to watch the game with his friends, or your kids to break for lunch after spending a few hours in the pool. Many of our clients opt to include a circulating fan overhead as well, for maximum comfort. It’s all up to you— your cabana can be as luxurious or simple as you would like!
Are you into hosting or grilling? Many of our cabanas include a built-in mini bar and grilling station, complete with everything you need to serve up your favorite drinks on any given day, including a mini fridge, sink, cabinets for storage and more. But the most important (and most functional part) of the cabana is the storage closet. This is where you can store away all of your pool accessories (or any type of backyard accessories for that matter), so they are organized and easily accessible!
